After many years of brilliant meeting facilitation and consensus building, and helping nonprofit organizations make the world a better place, William Keens has retired to an emeritus status to devote more time to his family and his poetry. Although Bill no longer sees clients, he continues to be a guiding light and inspiration behind the firm, and his approach and methods are a core element of how we work with clients.
Bill was educated as a writer, spent several years teaching, and worked in both community-based and national agencies before founding the Washington area office of WolfBrown, a national consulting firm focused on the arts & culture.
Please see www.wolfbrown.com for more information.
Bill graduated from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and received his masters in creative writing from the Iowa Writers Workshop. He is the son of a painter and tobacco factory worker and the grandson of self-taught immigrants, all of whom shared their conviction in the virtue of common sense in service to high ideals. He has published two books of poetry and continues to write.
